`Pathetically in love. =D
Saturday, May 7, was by far one of the best days ever. We never get the chance to spend the whole day together, so that alone made the day meaningful.
Well, after some laggage, I left my house around 9 and eventually picked her up by 10. No time for greetings because her parents didn't know she was chillin' with me. So off to El Cerrito we went to park at the BART station. To avoid from getting my car hijacked, we parked at Target. LOL. Then, off to BART we go.
We're not much of a PDA couple when we're in Vallejo/San Jose so it was nice being able to hold hands and hug or whatever without feeling awkward about it. There were hella heads going to the Giants game. After a pleasant adventure on BART we got off on Powell for the shops. It was hella funny because I had to hella piss, so we basically rushed to the Nordstrom bathrooms--just cuz they were nicer. =D
Following that little detour, I wanted salad for lunch, but Lena had already decided that we'd get a Philly Cheesesteak from Great Steak, cuz apparently we're a "Philly Cheesesteak" couple. LOL (Whatever the hell that means. =P)
Then we hit up my favorite floor, filled with the different kinds of Foot Lockers. We had a little fun up in Nordstroms and eventually hit the streets to look in a few more stores.
Since I had never been to Metreon, we went to go explore for a little. Lena went all crazy in the Playstation area. Her eyes lit up all bright like a little kid. It was way too cute.
One of the highlights of the day was buying a Venti Coffee Frap and just loungin out in the Yerba Buena Park. It was relaxing just chillin out on the grass talking, scoping out everyone that was walking by. I noticed some people looking over at us and stuff but no worries, at least they weren't hating.
Next, we went back inside Metreon and headed to the arcade. We bought a card and played a little. That was fun, killed some time. We explored a few shops when we got bored and decided to jump back onto BART and hit up the wharf.
Down the street before the wharf there was an Arts and Crafts fair so we looked around. Hard to imagine but we walked all the way from Pier 1 to Pier 39. I loved just being able to hold my girl's hand as we walked and everyone passing by noticed. We were joking around the whole time and eventually reached a dock where we just sat for a little. Then, we went through the shops of Pier 39 and reached the Sea Lions.
The Sea Lions are such idiots. Haha. We had fun just laughing at their stupidity and enjoyed the fights they kept picking with each other. I was jacket-less and therefore freezing so she held me close and all of that. =D It felt so nice just to be in her arms. But she couldn't keep me warm forever so we walked to Gap where she found a guys long sleeve for only 4 bucks. I bought it of course and we continued our walk down Fisherman's Wharf.
Eventually, after seeing a couple interesting things, we reached the street filled with restaurants so we budgeted well and picked a cheap, decently priced place. Once again we sat, talked, had a filling dinner. Then began our walk back towards the BART station.
We retraced our steps through Pier 39 and eventually realized that there was no way in hell we'd have enough energy to walk back to Pier 1. So instead we settled for taking the trolley but it took forever to get there so it was a good 20-30 minutes of standing around and talking. However, when it finally came, it still wasn't the end of our day.
We ended up walking back to BART. Hopped onto one, got off it, transferred, and ended up in El Cerrito. But we still had time to kill so we picked up my car from Target, drove to another Target. There, we ended up falling asleep in my car for a good half hour or so, then drove to Starbucks by her house (where there happened to be another Target). LOL.
So we said our last goodbyes in the car and I dropped her off at home. =D
It was definitely a day I will never forget. I fell in love with her even more that day. I can't over the feelings she gives me when she smiles, holds me close, kisses me--it's all worth the wait of seeing her. I couldn't have asked for a more caring, loving girlfriend.
Enough with the lovey dovey stuff. I'm done. =D `Deuces. |
